The vines are starting to wake up with all of this nice weather. Jose has finished pruning and brushing. He has quite literally touched every vine!
We are just beginning to see the buds on the vines starting to swell. We expect bud break later this month.
Hard to believe we had bud break in early April last year.
The wet weather has made for a promising water year. Emigrant Lake is over 95% of capacity and the mountains are full of snow!
Even when it is rainy with these springtime weather changes, it is always beautiful in the vineyard.
Come see for yourself!
As daytime temperatures warm up, the tulips are blooming and the outdoors is beckoning.
We will start adding more tables outside, but since there are still plenty of rainy days in the forecast, the umbrellas have not quite made their formal appearance just yet.
It is beautiful and green from the tasting room; the jack rabbits are out in force, the cows and calves are fun to watch and the snow on the mountains just makes us smile. Join us, celebrate the day and just relax.
Both the "Lite Bite" and Wine Tasting menus can be found on the Tasting Room page.
Trivia is on Sunday,
April 13th, from 3-5 pm.
Reservations requested.
Groups encouraged.
